Aging and Cancer


Call for Papers


Aging and cancer are two major threats to human. It is well reported that aging is the major risk factor for developing cancer. Indeed, aging is associated with a number of events at the molecular, cellular, and physiologic levels that influence cellular growth.


Much efforts have been made to improve the management of aging and cancer, as well as to unlock the intricate interplay between the mechanisms underlying aging and cancer. This special issue aims to discuss these two important problems together via original research and full review articles.

Traditional Chinese Medicine and Aging Intervention


Call for Papers


Aging involves many diseases that seriously affect people's quality of life and health, such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, cerebrovascular disease, heart disease, and so on. Indeed, aging is associated with many mechanisms. Multi target characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine have a unique advantage against aging.


There are many studies on the anti-aging of traditional Chinese medicine. This special issue aims to review the most popular TCM for intervention of aging. Chinese herbal medicine and its monomer for aging intervention are mainly included.
